The STIHL AX 6 P forestry axe is part of the handy forestry axe range in the STIHL forestry tool catalog and can be used for limbing and lighter splitting work. It has optimal weight distribution, measuring 37 cm in length and weighing 640 g. The lightweight, fiberglass-reinforced polyamide handle is not only comfortable to hold, but also robust, weather-resistant, and durable. This also applies to the axe head, which is securely attached to the handle and made of coated C60 steel. To ensure the STIHL AX 6 P axe sits securely in the hand, the underside of the handle is coated with a non-slip material. Disturbing materials such as nails in the wood can be quickly removed using the integrated nail puller.

This forestry hatchet has been awarded the KWF-Standard quality seal of the Kuratorium für Waldarbeit und Forsttechnik e.V.
