The STIHL HTA 160 B battery-powered telescopic pruner

efficiently supports professionals

in tree care, fruit growing, services

municipal and in the agricultural and forestry sectors

during limbing, the removal of dead wood

or damaged by storms and tree pruning by

fruit.

 

The powerful EC engine of the STIHL HTA 160 B

It is powered by lithium-ion batteries

of the STIHL AP system.

The lightweight and robust magnesium reducer

makes maneuverability easier. With this pruner

you can make cuts on branches and trees up to

20 cm in diameter. Thanks to the rod

professional telescopic

optimized with a particularly square profile

rigid, you can adjust easily and quickly

the total length up to 405 cm. This allows a

precise positioning and accurate cuts

even in the highest parts of the trees.

For thinning the foliage you can work

up to about 5 m in height.

 

The STIHL HTA 160 B can be used

with STIHL 3/8" P chains, such as the 3/8"

P Picco Micro 3 (PM3), or with STIHL 1/4" P chains,

like the 1/4" P Picco Micro 3 (PM3).

With 1/4" chains it is not necessary to use

of hearing protection,

making it possible to work even in areas

sensitive to noise. The variable throttle control

offers particularly precise control during

the cut. Furthermore, the electric release with time of

5 second activation avoids

interruptions during grip changes, making

a new unlock is often superfluous.

 

A sturdy integrated branch hook

in the compact cutting head it facilitates

the gripping and removal of material

cut. The pinion cover is equipped with

reference line for positioning

precise and lateral chip ejection.

The easily accessible chain tensioning system

laterally, allows for comfortable adjustment

and precise. All commands are collected

in the ergonomic handle

with digital control unit,

ADVANCE PLUS module with Smart

Integrated STIHL connector for integration

in the STIHL Connected system and LED display.

 

The STIHL support foot supplied as standard protects

the engine from contact with the ground.

An air filter with metal mesh,

easy to clean, guarantees a

optimal engine cooling

and therefore a long life of the device.

The dorsal transport system

optional STIHL RTS allows you to reduce

fatigue during prolonged work,

while maintaining at the same time

a high freedom of movement.
