The STIHL HLA 40 is a compact battery-powered hedge trimmer.

and light with telescopic pole,

ideal for pruning hedges, shrubs and bushes

taller ones, as well as ground cover and ornamental plants in private gardens.

Works with lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AS system

and it's so quiet it can be used without hearing protection,

even in noise-sensitive areas. The handle

optimised ergonomics with soft-grip surfaces ensures easy use

safe and comfortable. The ring handle and the shaft

tool-free adjustable square telescopic handles make handling easier,

even in tight spaces. The included shoulder strap can be

quickly attached and unhooked from the suspension ring.

Laser-cut, diamond-ground and hardened blades offer

high cutting performance and smooth operation.

Tool-free blade angle adjustment allows you to

set the cutting bar to 115° (from -45° to +70°) for both

cuts above the head and lateral. For work close to the ground, the

Screw-on guide guard protects the cutting tool.

Convenient to carry and store: Thanks to the split shaft, the length

overall can be reduced from 260 cm to 115 cm, ideal for

space-saving transport or storage on a wall bracket.
